I spent the summer of 2002 leading workshop classes for srtists in using computer based music and sound design with traditional acoustic instrumentation. During this
period I formed a lasting collaboration with Turkish musicians trained in the Ottoman Classical Style. The Gumusluk Acadamy of Arts, The Istanbul Mueum of Art and the Turkish Consulate made this possible.
