Original Music and Sound Design
For RIPfest at Anthology Film Archives, in NYC. My score balances Middle Eastern themes supplied for the exotic male belly dancer, Victor Casablanca, juxtaposed with barn burner rock tracks for the other lead characters.
The parameters of RIPfests film projects are such that an entire film is completed within 13 days. I had two days to write and record the entire score!
Often your initial gut reaction appraoch to a film score is what you come back to after weeks (or months) of heading down various other musical roads -this "spontaneous film making" approach cuts out all the in-between meandering.
